  • The Lone Star Midwives are a practice of Certified Nurse Midwives who deliver in a hospital setting and practice in conjunction with an OB/GYN practice.
  • This resource offers a listing of local Home Birth Midwives.
  • The San Antonio Birth Center is located in the Medical Center area and is staffed by a group of Certified Professional Midwives.  Here you will give birth in a home-like setting and have the option of waterbirth.
  • The Birth Center Stone Oak is located in the Stone Oak area and is staffed by a group of Certified Professional Midwives. The BCSO is warm and cozy and offers the option of a waterbirth.
